CHANTENAY A medium early, half-long, smooth, blunt-rooted sort, of deep orange-red color and delicate flavor. DANVER HALF LONG Slightly longer than Chantenay, growing 7 to 8 inches long, square-shouldered, tapering gradually to a blunt point. Root is smooth, orange-red color, with sweet, crisp flesh. IMPROVED LONG ORANGE Extremely productive; frequently grows a root of deep orange color, of about 3 inches in diameter at the top of the crown, tapering to a slight point. Ready in 80 days.
