The Rochester Railway was a consolidation of the Rochester City &Brighton RR., the Cross-Town RR. and the South Park RR., and leasedthe Rochester Electric Ry. from July 1 1894 for 50 years, at a rental of 104 ELECTRIC RAILWAYS [Vol. June, 1911. | ELECTRIC RAILWAYS 105 8% on $200,000 stock, and whenever gross receipts exceed $55,000, one-quarter of such excess; also leased the Rochester & Suburban Ry. (stock $420,000), the Rochester Electric Ry. (stock $200,000) andthe Ontario Light & Traction Co. (stock $100,000), which controls theCanadaigua Gas Lt. Co., and also granted authority to execute mortgagefor $35,000,000 and to issue $4,508,034 ($4,500,000 out) bonds at V. 90, p. 914, 1425.
