Michael Wettlaufer, left, Commander, Carrier Strike Group Three, speaks with Aircrewman (Operator) 1st Class Kyle Olson, right, attached to the "Golden Swordsmen" of Patrol Squadron (VP) 47, during a visit to Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Ten. VP-47 is a maritime patrol squadron stationed at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. The "Golden Swordsmen" recently completed their first 1,000 hours of flight in the P-8A Poseidon, the Navy's premiere long-range anti-submarine warfare platform.
