Teliospores subepidermal, inter- cellular, scattered or loosely gathered in one layer, colorless, subgloboid or ellipsoid, usually 4-celled, divided crosswise, but varying from 1 - to 4-celled, occasionally, to 7-celled, 25 — 36X 14 — 24/Li, with one pore on the outer wall of each cell; wall smooth, about 1/u thick.
