Dozens dockyards occupying acres of the Buriganga foreshore have been in operation for the last 50 years. It is mostly utilized for fixing and repairing old ships, build in new ships. Labors work in the dockyard without helmets, face mask, or safety shoes as their ages from 8 to 80 years old.
