GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Nov. 04, 2016) A recruit from division 016 practices proper procedures and techniques for tying the bowline knot on Nov. 04 at Recruit Training Command. Class was lead by a Basic Navy Orientation Instrucor in preperation of Marlinespike Lab. BNO Instructors provide basic naval orientation to recruits throughout their eight weeks of training. About 38,000 recruits graduate annually from the Navy’s only boot camp.
