As an ineredient, the green Mustard imparts a delightfully'pungent flavor to the various forms of prepared salads. Fcr early crops the seed may be sown in a hot-bed in March, and for general crop at frequent interva's through the spring^ in drills from eight to twelve inches apart. White Liondon. The beet variety for salads ; the seed is also used medicinally, and as a seasoning for pickles. Per oz., 5 cts. *, J4 cts.; lb., 40 cts. 0 Black or Brown. An esteemed sort for culinary use.
