Strip of bobbin lace with plume-shaped flower on curved stem, Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, old-Flemish lace. The repeating pattern consists of a concatenation of curved stems with two plume-shaped flowers, which split off in the opposite direction at the end of the stem. The motifs are connected by a lattice ground, a five-hole ground. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges and a pointed oval-shaped motif is made in net stroke. The top is finished straight. The faintly scalloped bottom comes from the pattern and is finished with picots., anonymous, Vlaanderen, c. 1700 - c. 1
