Floral Co., reports shipping trade good. Rhododendrons and azaleas are meet- ing with an excellent demand at the nur- sery of the Germain Seed & Plant Co. A large shipment of French nursery stock arrived here last week in fine order. H. R. Richards. SEATTLE, WASH. The Market. There has been plenty of business during the last week, and conditions seem to be slightly improving. There has been considerably more funeral work the last few days, which has helped to clean up the moderate quan- tities of cut flowers coming to market. Good roses are now arriving in fair quantity, and there is good sale for all of them. Carnations are not over- plentiful and some days were quite scarce, with not enough to fill orders. DaflPodils are fairly plentiful, and some stores have been cutting prices on them, with the idea, possibly, of catch- ing a little cheap trade, when the regu- lar price might just as well have been maintained. Tulips are in fair num- bers and are being cleaned up well. There are more and better freesias offered now than is customary, and they are bein
