Head and thorax fuscous brown, the shoulders with small pale crimson patches ; abdomen fuscous brown with some pale crimson hairs at base of dorsum and crimson patch at extremity. Pore wing fuscous brown, rather thinly scaled, a small pale crimson patch at base of inner area. Hind wing whitish tinged. Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned and reaching to vertex of head, slender ; antennas of male ciliated; tibiaa with the spurs long. Fore wing with the apex rounded, the termen evenly curved ; vein 2 from beyond middle of cell, curved at base; 3, 4 stalked; 5 absent; G, 7 stalked; 8, !» absent ; 10, 11 from cell; male with a large patch of rufous androconia in end of cell. Hind wing with vein 2 from well beyond middle of cell; 3, 4 coincident, :> absent; the terminal part of subcostal nervuro arched and the discocellulars short; vein 7 from well before end of cell; 8 from middle of cell ; male with a patch of rufous androconia in end of cell on upper ide.
