That is true, but as the strength of will tends down-ward, its potency is increased by the communion of low, undevel-oped human spirits, and the aid of Elementaries. Bright planetary spirits, and good, wise angel friends, alwayscounsel submission to the will of God, and recommend theachievement of spiritual power and spiritual knowledge, prin- 326 ART MAGIC. cipally as a means of elevating the soul, giving it new powers forgood, and new attributes of blessing. In communion with thosebright beings, it will ever be found that their power and theirwill is not only potent for good, but more potent than that ofmans. Human will then can only be exercised in the choice ofthe soul between lower and higher existences, on the forces ofnature, relations with our fellow man, and over beings lower thanearth. ^^V-^r.
