Demolition has begun at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Feb. 28, 2022. After the flooding that effected the Omaha metropolitan area in 2019, multiple buildings and the flight line on base were damaged requiring a multimillion-dollar contract with the Army Corps of Engineers for demolition, redesign and new construction projects.
