The public art piece Ice Watch at the City Hall by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson and geologist Minik Rosing. 100 tons of inland ice transported from Nuup Kangerlua Fiord, Nuuk to Copenhagen in refrigerated containers. The melting of the twelve large ice blocks formed as a clock serves as a climate warming wake-up call: 100 tons of inland ice melt every 100th of a second.
