ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 1, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Jose Franco directs the pilot of an F/A-18F Super Hornet attached to the "Black Lions" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 213 from the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN 77). GHWB is underway conducting a Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with the George Bush Carrier Strike Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
