Air Force Tech. Sgt. Steven Conrad, Venice, Fla., native, recently arrived in Panjshir Valley, Afghanistan with the Panjshir Provincial Reconstruction Team after completing three months of training. Conrad is deployed out of Hurlbert Field Air Force Base, Fla., where he is an aerospace medical technician for the 1st Special Operations Medical Group.
