The Villa Barbaro, or villa di Maser, is one of the masterpieces of the influential Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The symmetry is typical of Palladio's work. UNESCO has included the Palladian villas of this region, the Veneto, in a " World Heritage Site" which also includes the city of Vicenza.
