The Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Providence (SSN 719) returned home to Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, CT on Thursday, April 1, 2021 following its 16th and final deployment. Providence was deployed for seven months and operated in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
