All Saints Church, Brixworth, Northamptonshire, England, UK

The famous Saxon church in the village of Brixworth on a frosty winters morning. Brixworth Church is the largest surviving Anglo Saxon Church in the country. At the west end is an external stair turret one of only 4 similar ones to be found in England. The ring crypt around the apse at the east end is one of only 3 of its kind in Europe and is thought to have provided an ambulatory for pilgrims to glimpse a relic set in the wall of the apse.
