Whenbills are certified to as above, and left with the city clerk notlater than Thursday, at 12 oclock, m., preceeding the lastMonday of each month, they will be audited by the Com-mittee on Accounts and Claims, and if approved by them andallowed by the council, will be ready for payment on the fol-lowing Wednesday, at the office of the city treasurer.
