After waiting a couple of hours, we reached the boat, and were loaded by noon. We sailed that evening. Chow time came at last, and many chow times followed, that we will never forget. The less said about it the better but rotten would be a compliment. We sailed through the Mediterranean and on the second morning were anchored in the harbor of Gibraltar. Klein looked in vain for the Prudential advertisement, and we had trouble convincing him, it was not there. At the foot of the rock lay the town Past 2 18— BATTERY C.
