Soriano nel Cimino lies on the top of a hill and it is characterized by little medieval village around the castle built during the pontificate of Pope Niccolò III Orsini in the XIIIth century. On its territory there are Etruscan and Roman evidence, and recent recoveries show human presence also in prehistorical age.
