TVe can fully recommend the Princess to market gardeners who supply their home mar^vets, and to all who desire to grow a good melon for their own use. ^^sag'e, or Miller's Cream. A remarkably fine variety, and a very profitable sort for market gardeners, as it is fully established as a standard sort, and will ever remain so. It is of medium size, oval in form, dark <rreen in color, handsomely netted and slightly ribbed. The flesh is extremely and uni- formly thick, of firm texture, rich salmon in color; highly flavored and delicious to the rind. Cavity very small.
