Especial attention has been given to the enforcement of the lawsproviding close seasons for the killing of Quail, Wild Turkeys and breeding colonies of sea birds have also been carefully guarded. Manyarrests have been made for violations of the game laws, and in 163 cases the de-fendants were convicted. The Society does not receive any revenue from this.
