Ryanair flight FR2190 (departure slot time 13:15) has left for Malaga on Spain's Costa del Sol from the regional airport in Southend on Sea, their first scheduled passenger flight from this airport since the COVID-19 Coronavirus grounding in early March. Passengers boarding the Boeing 737 had to comply with strict guidance upon entering the airport terminal which includes the wearing of face masks. Many easyJet & BA aircraft are stored at Southend, with easyJet announcing the scrapping of their hub at Southend
