The Lorraine Motel in Memphis Tennessee was where Dr Martin Luther King stayed when in the city. He was staying in room 306 when he was shot on the balcony in 1968. The room is recreated to be exactly how it was on his last night and the motel has been renovated and now stands as a memorial and museum to him.
