Glasgow for Business Week 2012 was launched today with this year’s overall message; ‘the network’s growing’, which recognises the connections that can be made at the Week and the need for the city’s businesses to tackle areas like digital technology to grow. The week- long event from 8 – 12 October features homegrown entrepreneurs, industry experts and academics hosting free practical seminars, workshops and networking opportunities across the city and also includes a Youth Opportunity Day to help young people get into work. It is delivered by Glasgow City Council’s Development and Regeneration Services and developed in partnership with public and private sector organisations.
