A stunning shot of mountain mist filling the valleys around Halifax, in the Pennines of West Yorkshire. Here we are looking south, towards the town, from the clear moortops, above the nature reserve of Ogden Water. Halifax, itself, is under a sea of mist extending as far as the eye can sea. The mist gives the impression of a sea lapping a coastline of hill ridges at its flanks.
