Wooden water spout in the shape of a phallus. This form of art is seen throughout Bhutan, and is said to bring good luck & fertility.
Phallus art has it's origins in the Chimi Lhakhang monastery near Punakha. Painted on houses, carved and worn as necklaces, installed as scarecrows in the fields and used in religious festivals, it is said to bring good luck and fertility.
