Soldiers from 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, B Company 489th Civil Affairs Branch and 303rd PSYOP Company administer combat lifesaving measures to a role player with severe leg trauma from an exploded implented explosive device during a training exercise held aboard the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calif., May 4. The role players were evacuated the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow via a CH47 Chinook helicopter as part of the Non-combatant Evacuation Operation.
