Jack Hulbert (1892-1978) and his wife Cicely Courtneidge (1893-1980), English actors, 20th century. Hulbert was one of the earliest famous members of the Cambridge Footlights. He made his film acting debut in 'Elstree Calling' (1930) opposite his wife and frequent co-star Cicely Courtneidge.
