During his residence of more than two years in Cleveland, hewas active in business and church work. In his church he heldthe office of elder, overseer and treasurer; he was a Sabbath schoolteacher, C. E. president, trustee of the Friends Bible Institute, andgave much time and energy to local mission work. He is at presentsuperintended and treasurer of the Friends Africa Industrial Mis-sions at Kaimcsi, Tiriki, British East Africa. (This is in the Kavi-roudo Country, about 20 miles from Kisumu,
