Jose B. Foraker, (1849-1917), 1920s. Artist: Unknown


Joseph B. Foraker, born in Ohio, 1849. He was a fervent defender of the freedom of Cuba. Gave a great speech on 19 May 1897 calling for intervention, and in another famous speech (April 13 1898) requested the independence of Cuba. He died in 1917.
