Inland at the Tuluksak River, birds displayed until late July; an early brood was just flying on 19 June 1983; partially feathered young were found between 10 and 15 July; and most birds gone from the area by 20 August. However, an exhausted migrant was seen there on 21 September 1977. At the Kisaralik River, snipes were present on 12-13 and 25-26 August 1985 (M. Brown et al., unpublished) and present at the Kwethluk River on 12-17 July 1985 (M. Brown et al.,.
