C Type Jaguar at the Goodwood Festival Speed 2009
The C-TYPE which provided Jaguar with their first ever Le Mans win in 1951. The Jaguar factory entered three cars, whose driver pairings were Stirling Moss and Jack Fairman, Leslie Johnson and 3-times Mille Miglia winner Clemente Biondetti, and – the eventual winners – Peter Walker and Peter Whitehead. The Walker/Whitehead car was the only one to finish, the other two retiring.
