Giant short-tail stingray (Bathytoshia brevicaudata) in shallow waters alongside a jetty in Struisbaai harbour, in the Overberg region of the Western Cape province of South Africa. A number of rays congregate in the harbour, where they scavenge on the entrails and remains discarded by recreational and small scale commercial fishermen.
