Seed white, kidney shaped, with black eye: 80 per oz. â KEENEY'S IMPROVED STRINGLESS KIDNEY WAX sy2 A 58 Excellent for canning or quick freezing. Plant large, erect, reasonably productive. Pods oval, light yellow in color, brit- tle, stringless, fleshy, and of fine flavor. Seed white, kidney shaped with black eye: 75 per oz. â PENCIL POD BLACK WAX 6 T7s 55 Originated by Calvin N. Keeney; introduced in 1900. Primarily a home and market garden variety, but used in some sections for canning and has been frozen very successfully. Plant large, stocky, vigorous and strongly productive. Pods round, slightly curved, fleshy, golden yellow, tender, entirely string- less, without fiber, brittle and of finest quality. Seed oblong, slightly flattened, solid black: 90 per oz. â Suitable for quick freezing.
