This baroque architecture was established in the early 18th century, with the monastery's construction taking place between 1706 and 1710, and the church building following from 1723 to 1727. The church was dedicated by Petrus Bakich de Lach in 1727. It is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Đakovo-Osijek and is named after St. James the Elder, Apostle. The site is listed as a Register of Cultural Goods of Croatia
