Airmen with the Louisiana Air National Guard’s 159th Fighter Wing and 236th Combat Communications Squadron set up communications equipment in the Capitol building in Washington, , to ensure inter-operability with federal and district partners as part of support to the 59th Presidential Inauguration, Jan. 18, 2021. At least 25,000 National Guard men and women have been authorized to conduct security, communication and logistical missions in support of federal and District authorities leading up and through the inauguration.
