FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 11, 2018) Chief petty officer selectees from Yokosuka-area commands lay a wreath at a memorial in front the Chief Petty Officer Club as part of a ceremony to commemorate the 17th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack. Dozens of chief petty officers and selectees from USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), 7th Fleet, Commander, Submarine Group 7, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka and Commander, Naval Surface Group Western Pacific participated in the memorial ceremony, which also included morning colors and first-hand accounts.
