P., was instituted May 17,1878, by W. H. Pilkenton, Deputy Grand Master; Chartermembers: J. S. Davenport, John Davenport, Henry Bartle,Robert Allen, P. T. Powell and D. H. Johnson. The placeof meeting has been changed from Ida to Munden, wheremeetings are regularly held every Saturday night. Themembership June 30th, 1900 was 39. Scandia Lodge No. 165, I. O. O. P., was institutedMarch 12th, 1880, by W. H. Pilkenton, Grand Master ofthe state of Kansas, who appointed the following assist-ants: Grand marshal, D. L. At the firstmeeting M. Curran was elected N. G.; L. Whitney, V. G.;W. A. Smith, recording secretary; C. P. Carstensen, treas-urer. At this meeting the following j^ersons were dulyinitiated as members: P. Curran, D. P. Longnecker, Allen and James Weyand. This lodge was incorporatedunder the laws of the state of Kansas, February 22d, 1883,and is now in a prosperous condition, with a membershipof 66. Republic City Lodge No. 204, I. O.
