The base plate bears the engraved monogram "ON" under the Russian crown and the crowned Russian double-headed eagle. The supports are mounted with screws. The mark "N & P" for Nichols & Plinke, the work master's mark "" (Henrik August Long), St. Petersburg hallmark for "84" zolotniki, and the inspection mark for Dmitry Ilich Tverskoi "1840" are stamped on the bottom.
