MIDDLETOWN, (April 3, 2017) Senior Chief Boatswain’s Mate Herb Kresge Jr., assigned to Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, and his daughter, Sierra Kresge, give a presentation to students and teachers at Gaudet Middle School in Middletown in support of the Month of the Military Child. Established in 1986 by former Defense Secretary Casper W. Weinberger, the Month of the Military Child is to honor and recognize the sacrifices military children make when their parent or even both parents are in the military.
