The Iron Bridge
Ironbridge is a village on the River Severn, at the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, near Telford in Shropshire, England. This area is known as the Birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. As industry grew on both sides of the river, the need for a crossing which would allow sailing boats to pass became greater.
