Aesop's Fox and Crow

Aesop was a sixth-century legendary composer of Greek fables whose characters were animals. Each fable had a moral. It was said that Aesop was a slave and had been freed by his master. Milo Winter (died 1956) was an American book illustrator. Among his works are illustrations of Aesop's fables. The one here is Fox and Crow with the moral: The flatterer lives at the expense of those who will listen to him.
