This force which tends to pull the lower to the left and the upperto the right is distributed through the medium of the arch-bows to the entire frontportion of both dentures. This may be further supplemented with short elastics,as shown, from hooks on the lingual surfaces of the upper right premolars and mo-lars to attachments on the buccal surfaces of the teeth below.
