The Rocca Farnese is the most significant monument of Valentano, a small town in the province of Viterbo in central Italy. The Farnese family moved to Valentano after Cardinal Albornoz gave them the fortress, which was transformed from a defensive castle to residential dwelling. Currently the building is the Museum of Prehistory of Tuscia and Rocca Farnese.
