The Silver Slipper Casino opened in 1973 and was re-named Harrah's in 1992. Harrah's has a Carnival Theme. The hotel has 2677 rooms and the gaming floor, with 1200 slot machines, an area of 86,664 square feet (8051 square metres). 'Defending the Caveman' and 'Legends in Concert' are permanent shows. The 'Improve at Harrah's' is a reference to Harrah's 'Improv Comedy Club', where, each week, three new comedians perform. The Entrance arrow points traffic from the Strip towards the hotel.
