An inter-esting photograph taken on this occasion shows 145 of theboys in their uniforms arranged in three long rows, with thePresident standing in the center of the group, and tents anda leafy grove in the background. In August the Lanternprinted the names of 45 of those who had just received theircommissions. Three of this list had been made captains; seven,first lieutenants; and the rest, second lieutenants.
