FLYING OFFICER SMITH WINS - Flying Officer Lewis George Smith of Maidstone, has just been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. After a tour of operational duty as an air gunner, for which he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal, Flying Officer Smith has completed a large number of photographic reconnaissances.
