They are one of the most important winter blooming pot plants. Sow in March, April, or May. Giant Primula obconica 'jk These are of the easiest culture in greenhouse or in a light window of the house, flowering abundantly and continuously with little care. Should be sown during the spring in good porous loam. They will not germinate well in any compost containing peat or leaf mould. To develop the colors to the highest degree, grow in heavy soil and at a temperature as near 60 degrees as Primula obconica 3821 Fasbender. Glowing deep red blooms of the fargest size.
